V - Fruition - Vcap

Ana's latest tactic against the humans is beating the crap out of her daughter. She breaks Lisa's legs, bruises her whole body and slices her face to make it look like a terrorist attack from the 5th column. Hobbes and some guy named Parker are the only suspects, presumably because they are who Lisa was told to blame. Ana comes to Earth about Lisa and holds a press conference about the attack. She puts on a very convincing sad face and announces that the Visitors no longer feel safe and that they will soon be leaving our planet. Yeah right. But the shot of the Shanghai ship leaving was really creepy.

Besides our crew, there are many others who don't believe Ana's claims. But for every one of them, there are a bunch more hysterical loons who are desperate for Ana to stay. Among those acting irrationally are Chad Decker. Ana and the rest of the V's have cut him off and he's lost his status with them. He starts to throw a little public tantrum about being ignored and it's really embarrassing to me. To try and prove his loyalty I guess, Chad urges the human race to encourage the government and anyone with influence to convince the V's to stay. It works and Ana agrees to stay once the president and FBI agree to share all their intel with her so she feels safe. Why did Chad do what he did when he knows Ana is just using him for his information? Is he really that stupid or does he have a plan?

Hobbes isn't talking about why the V's are so keen on getting a hold of him so Erica makes it her mission to find the other guy. Hobbes gets to his apartment first and steals Parker's harddrive that contains a ton of information about a formula he's created to harm the V's. Why does Hobbes want it? Can he be trusted? Erica talks to Parker and discovers that he and his team have inadvertently created a weapon against the V's. Previously made to battle Global Warming, it had nasty side effects against reptiles which explain why the V's are afraid of it.

Ana disables the human radars so that they can't see her army fleet arriving in our atmosphere. It's not looking too good for us because her crazy strong army V's are beginning to hatch. Also hatching is Val, when Ryan gets a text that her water broke. Will we soon have an alien baby to gawk at? Seemingly proving that a terrorist can't be trusted, we learn that Hobbes is blackmailing the V's for money and all the information they have on him in exchange for Parker's formula. What is he hiding??
