Usher's Ex-Wife Threatens Legal Action Over Failure to Co-Parent
Usher Raymond and ex-wife Tameka Foster
Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, is threatening legal action.
Foster is looking to take the R&B star and former Voice coach to court over his failure to include her in parenting decisions regarding their two sons, among other grievances.
According to court documents filed in Georgia, Foster claims that Usher stormed out of a co-parenting class they were ordered to attend in July, and hasn't been back since. Foster says she has begged the singer to return to the classes, but he's simply ignored her. However, while Usher has primary custody of their two boys, Foster states that he has cut her out of important family decisions regarding schooling, travel and activities -- decisions in which she is supposed to be included.
Foster goes on to declare that Usher has shut her out completely, adding that she never knows where he takes her boys or what he's doing with them. She's particularly upset about his having signed up one of the boys for football without consulting her.
The document specifies that Foster is requesting the judge hold Usher in contempt and order him to be more of a co-parent with her.
Usher could not be reached for comment.
