Usher’s 5-Year-Old Son in ICU After Nearly Drowning

Some scary news for Usher.

CelebTV is reporting that the singer’s 5-year-old son is currently in the intensive care unit at an Atlanta hospital after nearly drowning. The child reportedly got his hand caught in a pool drain while swimming with his aunt, and diving for a toy that was caught in the pool drain. The boy then got his arm stuck, and neither his aunt nor a maid were able to free him. Thankfully, two male workers were on hand to pull the boy to safety and resuscitate him with CPR. Doctors say the child, Usher Raymond V, should be okay.

His father, and mother, Tameka Foster, are at his bedside. This near-tragedy comes a little over a year after Foster lost her 11-year-old son, Kile Glover, following a jet-ski accident.
