Once Upon A Time - Recap - Season 3 Episode 9 - Save Henry
Will the motherly trio be able to #SaveHenry? Can they win back his heart? I really don't know who to root for this week after Peter Pan's character was demolished in the last episode.
Read on for our recap of Season 3 Episode 9 of Once Upon A Time: "Save Henry".
Regina's strength and love for Henry is tested this week. She may be a murderer and an awful queen, but you can't help but believe she loves that annoying kid. In a flashback to Storybrooke, Regina has succeeded in casting her curse. But she doesn't have her Happy Ever After. After a brief discussion with Archie, Regina begins to wonder what is missing from her life. In this instance, it's a baby.
Regina asks Mr. Gold for help. "I'm flattered but uninterested." HA! But no, she just wants help skipping the waiting list. He successfully finds her a baby boy in Boston and Regina takes him home. But it's not smooth sailing. She struggles with her child who just won't stop crying. She believes something is wrong with him but it's nothing a little motherly love won't cure. She believes, however, that she needs to know about his birth parents.
This leads Regina to the discovery of Emma and she almost gives Henry back just to avoid it all. But she loves that kid and decides a potion to make her forget her fears of Emma is a better idea. Tough luck for the Darling boys, who are waiting in the hallway to adopt Henry for Pan. What a cute couple.
Over in Neverland, Emma tries to win over the Lost Boys in an attempt to find out Pan's whereabouts. She promises that they will take them all home with them. A few of them cave and they are able to track him down. Although Pan is able to restrain them long enough to be a brat, Regina's love for Henry is powerful enough to rip out his heart. They bring it back to Henry and wake him up. Not taking any chances, Regina puts a spell on Henry to protect his heart from ever being taken out again.
She should have put a spell on the door. Pan shows up as soon as she leaves to finish what he started. Fresh out the box, Rumple appears to put Pan inside it instead. Itty bitty living space, buddy. With the power of the creepy shadow monster, they head back home with the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell, and Wendy. We're on our way to Storybrooke, guys!
But TWIST! Henry thanks Pan's number 1 goon who realizes it's actually Peter Pan that is talking to him. Pan must have done a little switcheroo. What does this mean for Henry now that he's inside Pandora's box in Peter Pan's body??
