'Once Upon A Time' Has Found Its Queen Elsa
Just days after casting a newcomer and a Greek alum as Princess Anna and her beau Kristoff, respectively, Once Upon A Time has announced the casting of Queen Elsa herself, giving us our trifecta of Frozen characters for Season 4.
Australian actress Georgina Haig has been cast in the role of Elsa, whose story is expected to pick up after the events of Frozen. Haig is perhaps best known from her role on FOX’s Fringe as Henrietta "Etta" Bishop, although she also currently stars on the CBS summer drama Reckless.
Haig certainly has the look for the role, but I can't say I've seen enough of her work to know for sure just how well she'll fit into the world of Once Upon A Time. With that said, I expect the show has huge plans for Frozen, since it's Disney's hottest property at the moment, and I doubt the company would have signed off on letting them use it if the storyline were just going to be one big character assassination. So it should be interesting to see what, exactly, the fine folks at Once have in store.
