Undercovers - Series premiere

Damn. Boris Kodjoe is hot. But you know what? I think Gugu Mbatha-Raw is hotter. I'm so happy she landed this role! Welcome to America Gugu!

Undercovers is an action adventure romance series from J.J. Abrams, creator of Lost. Steven and Samantha Bloom (played by Boris and Gugu) are former CIA agents who are re-activated in the field after Samantha's former partner (and lover!) Leo Nash has gone missing. They end up saving him and bringing in a Soviet terrorist - plus rekindling their romance. At the end, they are offered jobs with the CIA for "sensitive, dangerous, inappropriate" cases.

I like this series because it's a bit "light-weight" but still fun to watch (just like Hawaii Five-0). It will be interesting to see how it develops after the pilot when they have regular missions. I do hope they still retain Leo - for the predictable jealousy angle, and the assistant who has a man-crush on Steven.

Watching this again next week. We love eye candy.
