Unaired 'Manhattan Love Story' Episodes to Air on Hulu

Manhattan Love Story was the first cancellation of the 2014-2015 broadcast season, and it wasn't long before its Tuesday night time slot partner, Selfie, followed it into the TV graveyard. But the people responsible for making sure we see the remaining unaired Selfie episodes are also going to provide us with the remaining, unaired episodes of Manhattan Love Story.

In a move that basically makes them the new ABC Tuesday night comedy block, Hulu has picked up the rights to air the remaining episodes of Manhattan Love Story. Beginning on Thursday, December 4, Hulu will air the remaining seven episodes of the comedy, starring Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman, with new episodes to follow every Thursday thereafter. By the time all seven episodes have aired, Hulu will have given the show more of a shot than ABC ever did, as the network yanked it after just four episodes. Still, it's hard to justify a primetime Tuesday night time slot to any show that garners under 2.6 million viewers and a paltry 0.7 rating among that coveted adults 18-49 demographic. So ABC was justified in axing it, although I still feel some shows need time to grow and find an audience. Perhaps it'll do just that on Hulu. If nothing else, at least fans of the series, however many of them exist, will get some sense of closure on it.
