Tyra Banks Confirms 'Life-Size' Sequel Is Totally Happening

Disney is revisiting one of its most successful made-for-TV original movies.
Tyra Banks has confirmed that a sequel to Life-Size is in the works, and is not at all something we're collectively hallucinating. The 2000 Disney film, starring a young Lindsay Lohan as a girl whose doll Eve (played by Banks) came to life, became a cult hit after it premiered on ABC, and was one of the seminal projects responsible for making Lindsay Lohan a thing in pop culture (so add Lohan to your list of things you can take Disney to task over).
Of course, rumors of a sequel have been circulating since 2012, that long-ago age when America was still flirting with the idea of putting Mitt Romney in office (except not really). But confirmation is only now coming from Banks, who discussed the start of the pre-production process.
"I have a meeting today to go over the script!" Banks said. "I swear! I don't think it'll be out until probably 2015, but I'm guessing - it could be late 2014 or 2015. But it will be back. Life-Size will be back, better than ever."
Yet Banks couldn't really provide plot or casting details.
"I can't [tell you anything] unfortunately," she said. "I'm under contract with Disney and I can't talk about it at all, except that it's coming. But it will be very different, very different. Very modern - a modern take."
So...yes or no on Lohan? Because I'd bet dollars to donuts that Disney could get her. I mean, hey, it couldn't possibly be worse for her career than Liz and Dick.
