Tyler Posey Will Host the Teen Choice Awards 2014
Teen Wolf is heading to Teen Choice!
Tyler Posey has been chosen to serve as host for the Teen Choice Awards 2014, the fan-voted awards ceremony that is set to air on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on FOX.
The show has already got a fairly stacked lineup: in addition to answering the question of which nominees will go home as Teen Choice Award winners, the show will feature performances from Jason Derulo, English band Rixton, and Canadian reggae-fusion band Magic!, whose summer single, "Rude," is slowly taking over the Earth. They will join a cavalcade of presenters that include Pretty Little Liars stars Keegan Allen, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, and Ian Harding, as well as Cody Simpson, Hailee Steinfeld, Bella Thorne, Zendaya, Gregg Sulkin, The Fosters star Jake T. Austin, and WWE superstar The Big Show.
I don't know what kind of host he'll make, since I can't recall ever seeing Posey at an emcee capacity, or in a non-Wolf Watch live setting. But I think he's more than capable of pulling this off, and surprising more than a few people with how well he does it. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that picking Posey is an inspired choice on FOX's part, if only because of the potential he has to really impress. What do you think? If not Posey, which TV star do you think could have made an unexpectedly good pick? Sound off in the comments!
