Tyler Perry to release first animated film, 'Madea's Tough Love' in January 2015
Tyler Perry is making a delve into the animated world, taking the Madea character with him! Madea is getting cartoon-ified!
"Madea's Tough Love" will be released on DVD and On Demand in January 2015. The summary states: "After a hilarious run-in with the law, Madea is sentenced to community service. Determined to do good for the ‘hood, Madea enlists Aunt Bam and Uncle Joe to try and save the Moms Mabley Youth Center from being shut down. With her irresistible sass and wisdom, Madea rallies the local kids to make a stand — and proves that behind her tough exterior is a whole lot of love!"
Anne Parducci, Lionsgate EVP of Marketing and Family Entertainment said, “Given the tremendous success and appeal of his beloved character Madea across screen and plays for the past 15 years, we know fans and families will love to watch and laugh with Madea in her first animated movie.”
Some people think Tyler Perry must be stopped..LOL. I honestly have no problem with it. We have much more to be worried about getting the VH1 trash show Sorority Sisters off the air and things like that giving such a bad representation other than harmless Tyler Perry flicks.
