Two Cast Members Depart 'Chicago PD'

NBC’s Chicago PD has lost two of its own.

Tania Raymonde (Lost) and Scott Eastwood (Gran Torino), both of whom appeared in last season’s backdoor pilot episode of Chicago Fire that introduced the cast for the upcoming spin-off, have departed the series.

Reportedly, Eastwood and Raymonde left Chicago PD during the summer over creative differences. This is troubling news, if for no other reason than because they aren't the only two actors to leave the Chicago Fire spin-off for creative reasons. In June, Melissa Sagemiller (Law & Order: SVU) and Kelly Blatz (Glory Daze) left Chicago PD for the same reasons, prompting NBC to replace the departed actors with three new additions: Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill), Patrick Flueger (The 4400) and Jesse Lee Soffer (Mob Doctor), all of whom were added to the Chicago PD cast in subsequent weeks.

Does the creative turmoil signify a troubling series ahead? You can find out when Chicago PD premieres Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 10/9c on NBC.
