TV Ratings: 'The Sound of Music Live' dominates Thursday night - 12/06/2013
The Sound of Music Live had a 4.6 adult rating on Thursday and 18.47 million viewers! It was the most watched show of the night and tied The Big Bang Theory in the demo as the #1 show of the night. Woohoo! But Sound of Music really won: Big Bang Theory was only 30 minutes while the musical event was 3 hours long.
I'm sure it was a mixture of factors for the show to come out as a success in the ratings, but at the very least, I hope that The Sound of Music introduced to a greater number of Americans, the greatest singer-actress of our time, Audra McDonald.
The X Factor had a 1.3 rating.
The Vampire Diaries had a 1.0 rating.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland had a 1.0 rating.
Glee had a 1.1 rating.
Reign had a 0.6 rating.
Scandal had a 3.1 rating.
Elementary had a 1.8 rating.
