TV Ratings: American Idol's Lowest Ever Trounced By The Flash And Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD
American Idol had its lowest rated show ever and least watched show ever on Tuesday. No wonder FOX has decided to cancel it.
The special Tuesday finale had a 1.2 adult 18-49 rating and 5.49 million viewers. It has never dipped this low in the demo and fell below 6 million viewers for the first time in 14 seasons.
The Voice was the #1 show with a 2.1 rating and 8.98 million viewers.
NCIS was the most watched show with 14.75 million viewers and a 1.9 rating.
Dancing with the Stars had a 1.5 rating and 9.96 million viewers.
The Flash had a 1.4 rating and 3.51 million viewers, beating American Idol in the demo which was simply unthinkable just one year ago. Idol could not beat a show on The CW???
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD had a 1.3 rating and 3.95 million viewers, beating Idol as well in the demo.
UPDATE FINAL RATINGS: Idol was adjusted up to 1.3. The Flash was adjusted up to 1.5. NCIS up to 2.0.
