Turtle Found Stabbed With Screwdriver Into Shell (VIDEO)

A family in Illinois found a wild turtle with a screwdriver lodged in its shell. This is horrible!

Humans are truly capable of the most horrific things in this world. I am so disgusted. Sick to my stomach right now.

The turtle was taken to a vet and was rehabilitated. It was ultimately let go into a safe environment.

I really hope they find that sick person who did this.

Turtles of many species are threatened and endangered in many states including Illinois. At the very least I hope this video will bring on awareness. Man is the main threat to these majestic creatures.
