'Turn' Renewed For Second Season by AMC

While AMC had high hopes for Turn, the show ultimately proved to be a mixed bag with critics and audiences alike. Yet it managed to secure a solid enough audience that the network feels confident in bringing it back.

AMC has officially renewed Turn for a second season, and it's honestly not a bad decision. The writing isn't perfect, but it isn't weak either, and the ensemble is damn good, particularly with Jamie Bell in the lead. Plus, a second season means we're that much closer to finding out how the rest of this whole Revolutionary War thing plays out! Does America win its freedom? Don't spoil it for me!

So what do you think about Turn getting renewed for Season 2? Did AMC make the right call, or would they have been better served cutting their losses? Sound off in the comments!
