Tracy Morgan Rightfully Confused That Walmart is Blaming Him for Own Injuries

You may recall that back in June, Tracy Morgan was seriously injured in a car accident when a Walmart truck rear-ended his limousine from behind, injuring several people and killing his friend James McNair.

Now Walmart is saying Morgan is to blame for his own injuries and subsequent rehab because he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

As expected, Morgan is understandably confused by this stance.

The company made the belief known in response to a lawsuit filed by Morgan in July.

According to the court paperwork the passengers were "in whole or in part" at fault because of a "failure to properly wear an appropriate available seatbelt restraint device."

In response, Morgan says he "can't believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused."

"My friends and I were doing nothing wrong," Morgan passed along through a spokesperson.

Added Walmart who said they were just following normal legal proceedings, "Our thoughts continue to go out to everyone involved, and we remain committed to doing what's right."
