Tori Kelly Joins 'The Voice' As Adam Levine's Advisor

Tori Kelly has joined "The Voice" as Team Adam Levine's advisor. I'm so stoked!

PEOPLE confirmed the news on Thursday and talked to Adam why he chose the Grammy nominated singer:

"I saw Tori performing on the VMAS playing guitar and singing," Levine, 36, tells PEOPLE exclusively. "It was so incredibly refreshing and inspiring to see her up there doing her thing, so I called her up and asked her if she would join me on The Voice."
