Top 12 Analysis - Revised

What a weekend! I realized that I need to adjust some of my predictions since the shocking turn of events in the past 78 hours.

First of all my "final four" no longer holds since Mario Vazquez quit the show. I think I'll just stick to a "top three": Anthony Fedorov, Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice. I also think that Constantine Maroulis will place high, perhaps in top 6 since his following is pretty fanatic right now.

I wouldn't be fazed if Connie got booted early or placed higher, since my other prediction that something completely unpredictable would happen happened over the weekend already. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but that's how this show works. So in a way, I'm surprised but not surprised. There's nothing that can happen now that could possibly top Mario's departure this year, and admittedly it has put a damper on my own feelings for the show. The what ifs will totally nag me and a lot of people for the rest of the season.

I hope that tonight's show will rev up the excitement again. Two of my favorites are gone, Mario and Judd, and I have only two left to entertain me: Anthony and Mikalah. I hope they don't disappoint.
