Tony Winner Laura Benanti Joins 'Nashville' Season 3
Nashville is getting a taste of Broadway!
Tony winner Laura Benanti is joining the cast for Season 3 as Sadie Stone, an upstart country artist who befriends Rayna (Connie Britton). Of course, befriending Rayna often entails going to war with her somewhere down the line, since this show thrives on backstage drama. But that's kind of what we love about it. And, apparently, it's what Benanti loves too, as she's unabashedly obsessed with the show. In fact, her infectious enthusiasm drew the attention of co-star Britton on Twitter:

Seriously, Go On was sincrerely underrated, and Benanti was fantastic in The Sound of Music Live. And her and Britton onscreen together? Forget about it. I'm all-in on this one.
