Mark Gatiss: Tom Hiddleston Would Be a Great Holmes Brother on 'Sherlock'
On the Season 3 finale of Sherlock, we learned that there's a mysterious third Holmes brother and perhaps in an attempt to break the internet, writer/actor Mark Gatiss thinks it should be Tom Hiddleston.
Is it because he and Benedict Cumberbatch have cheekbone polishing parties? Or because the internet immediately decided that it should be Hiddleston?
"Tom would be wonderful in Sherlock," admitted Gatiss (who plays Holmes elder brother Mycroft and writes the show alongside Steven Moffat). "I’m sure but he only does movies now. What can I say?"
He continued to tease the audience at a Q&A in Brazil, joking, "I’ll ask him if you like."
"Well it’s an internet rumor so it must be true. We might as well just wait and see what happens."
