Tom Hiddleston Crashes Country Music Festival, Performs Hank Williams Songs (VIDEO)
Michigan's Wheatland Music Festival got an incredible shock over the weekend, as Thor star Tom Hiddleston crashed the ceremony to show off his musical talents.
Hiddleston took to the stage to perform "Move It On Over" by iconic country star Hank Williams. Then, later in the evening, he joined singer Rodney Crowell for a performance of Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry."
The surprise performance allowed Hiddleston to prepare for his big role in the upcoming Hank Williams biopic, I Saw the Light. The film will document the enigmatic beginnings and tragic end of Williams, who died at age 29 due to heart failure. Shooting is scheduled to begin next month in Louisiana.
I Saw the Light has instantly shot to the top of my most anticipated biopics, as Hiddleston has serious vocal chops to go along with his winning charm and considerable acting talent.
