Before they cast Chris Hemsworth in the role of Thor, Tom Hiddleston (who would go on to play Loki) auditioned for the role of the Norse God.

And they've finally released shots of his screen tests.

Hiddleston's audition will appear as an extra on the DVD and Blu-ray for Thor: The Dark World when it comes out on February 25.

Meaning you can see what Tom Hiddleston looks like as a shirtless blond man. At least back in 2011.

"(Hiddleston) did a tremendous job, but he wasn't Thor," admitted executive producer Craig Kyle. Instead, Chris Hemsworth got the role, even beating out his brother Liam Hemsworth for the part.

You can check out the GIFs of Hiddleston as Thor below. Enjoy!
