Taye Diggs is keeping busy in TV.

After yesterday's news that the Private Practice vet would be guest-starring on FOX's New Girl this season, TVLine.com is now reporting that TNT has given a 10-episode series order to Murder in the First, a drama produced by Stephen Bochco (NYPD Blue, L.A. Law) and co-starring Kathleen Robertson (the recently-cancelled Starz series Boss).

Much like The Killing, Broadchurch, The Bridge and other recent crime dramas, Murder in the First features a single case that is investigated across an entire season. Diggs and Robertson play San Francisco homicide detectives English (Diggs) and Mulligan (Robertson) as they are faced with solving a difficult murder mystery.

The series boasts a rich cast that includes Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy himself!), Raphael Sbarge (Once Upon A Time), Mimi Kirkland (Safe Haven), Bess Rous (What Just Happened), Ian Anthony Dale (Hawaii Five-0) and Steve Weber (Dallas).

A premiere date has not been set just yet.
