Threshold

I guess ever since watching V when I was a boy, the alien invasion theme was always interesting to me. Threshold (Fridays, CBS) follows the same storyline of "we don't know what we are up against, but they're bad and we need to fight them", so I think the one thing that Threshold will have to rely on without being irrelevant is style and characterization. So far, it's been OK. The characters are interesting enough, specially the midget (was that unbelievably politically incorrect? what should I say? short adult person? help me out please) and Brent Spiner, who was Data in Star Trek: TNG. We have not seen the aliens yet, but they seem to worship this nano-fractal pattern -- which is great, because every time I see it from now on, I will remember this show. Speaking of Star Trek, the executive producer is Brannon Braga, the long time executive producer for Star Trek.
