The Theme for the Oscars 2014 Is...

Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are back to producers the Oscars this year following a show that was generally well-received last year. Sure, it wasn't a homerun or anything, but it was certainly entertaining, with its theme centering on movie musicals. But what about this year?

Well, Neil Meron hit up Instagram to reveal the theme for the Oscars 2014. You can watch the video below:

So there you have it! The theme is heroes. I have no idea what kind of setpieces, musical numbers, or montages we're going to get, but I'm sure Zadan and Meron have something up their sleeves. Should be interesting.

The 86th Academy Awards ceremony airs March 2 on ABC.
