The Walking Dead - Tell It To The Frogs - Video
The Walking Dead is one of my favorite shows right now. I never thought I would like a series about zombies, but this show from AMC is pretty good. 'Surviving the impossible' is really the main appeal with all the zombies terrorizing everyone, but what makes it so engrossing is how the show highlights humanity's flaws when we should all be banding together at such dire situations. Everyone is fighting each other -- just like we all do in the real world. And then before we know it, we get eaten by zombies (just like it is in the real world -- so clever!)
So Rick arrives at the camp and discovers that his wife and son are still alive. Unfortunately, his best friend Shane just had sex with his wife last episode -- which made for an awkward TV moment.
Rick decides to go back to Atlanta to save Merle Dixon who they left handcuffed on the roof. When Rick, Glenn, T-Dog and Merle's brother arrive, they find (SPOILER ALERT) Merle's hand sawed off (by Merle trying to escape the zombies).
Back at camp, domestic drama from a couple of the characters.
Next week: Other human survivors! But it looks like they are not friendly.
I love this show!
