After the season 2 finale, which saw death and destruction hit Hershel's idyllic farm, season 3 of The Walking Dead promises the return of a familiar face, the introduction of a threatening new villain, and the arrival of a strong-willed warrior that could mean the difference between life and death for our survivors.

Mild spoilers if you want to go into the premiere completely blind; however, the video does offer some thrilling preview clips, including a pretty unique zombie multi-kill. Certainly got me pumped for season 3, even if season 2 was pretty iffy television from week-to-week. This looks to be the show's most focused, high-stakes season yet.
