'The Voice' is Unhappy with Winner Jermaine Paul; Planning Major Changes

The Voice's second season just came to a close this week, but that doesn't mean the show's executives aren't already planning for the future. According to RadarOnline, a source revealed to the pop culture site that "there will be changes to the format" for season three.

The same source also reveals that while the producers plan to back winner Jermaine Paul on his major label record, they are also worried about what his win means for the show.

They continue:
“The formula is flawed. Juliet Simms and Jamar Rogers were two of the best and both should have been in the final four. But they were both on the same team, so it couldn’t work. That’s something they’re working on fixing for the next season.”
The producers are obviously rethinking the show going into another season of the hit show this fall. Parallels between Paul and last year's winner Javier Colon have already been drawn. “Javier didn’t wow anyone with his post-Voice success,” the sources divulges. "And people want a success story for the Voice winner.”
