The Voice 3 - Adam Levine Talks Tony Lucca & Coaching Style - Video
Adam Levine talks about his his season two contestant Tony Lucca and his coaching style on The Voice.
In the NBC video promo, Adam says that he tries to be "as nurturing as possible" as a coach. He adds that the best way to be competitive is to "focus on what you are doing and give it your best." He says that his goal as a coach is to "educate" his contestants in the hopes that they will process his wisdom into a victory.
On the subject of Tony Lucca, he says that he thinks just getting to the final four was a victory and that he thinks Tony is "an amazing talent." He says that he hopes to work with Lucca in the future and wants to "help him in whatever way I can."
Hopefully Adam will follow his own advice in season three. I think the distraction and animosity generated by his feud with Christina, which culminated in Lucca's sort of "F You" performance of "99 Problems" hurt both of their contestant's chances in the finale of season 2. Staying focused on the task at hand seems like a great approach to guiding his season three finalists to victory.
