Musical Performance - Gym Class Heros, Neon Hitch, + Team Adam - Back Home
Huh. I didn't realize that there were guest musical performances. So much music tonight! I do love this song. Is that autotune I hear?
The contestants were absolutely drowned out. Sigh. They're so talented, they deserved to shine.
OMG FILLER. Blake takes his team to a radio station. He's showing them just how the business is done.

SING FOR YOUR LIFE PERFORMANCES - TEAM BLAKE
Naia Kete - Team Blake - "If I Were a Boy"
Oh. Interesting song choice. She was pretty good las night, so I hate to see her in the bottom. She's wearing a lovely blue dress. The arrangement has some weird reggae-spin to it...or she's attempting it. It's pitchy towards the first build...and the second. She should have pulled out her guitar for an intimate interpretation.
Blake loves seeing her come out on stage. He still loves the reggae. OMG. She said there were only so manly songs she could pick from!!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!
Charlotte Sometimes - Team Blake - "Iris"
I LOVE THIS SONG! This might be good for her. Hmm. Her vocals aren't too bad, but you can tell she really is pouring her heart into it. She almost breaks down in tears. OMG. Chills. I love this!
Jordis Unga - Team Blake - "Wild Horses"
OH. This song. The arrangement is nicely acoustic. She needs to nail this. She's peppering in some cool melodic changes. Midway through, the band kicks in and fortunately, it doesn't overpower her. She's able to really show off her vocal prowess and control. Damn. Blake, don't be an IDIOT!

SING FOR YOUR LIFE PERFORMANCES - TEAM XTINA
Ashley De La Rosa - Team Xtina - "Paris Ooo-la-la"
Hm. This has a definite rock edge, but her vocals are all over the place. She's working the stage, but honestly, she needs some work. She's packing way too many vocal runs into this, instead of just letting the song be.
Sera Hill - Team Xtina - "Vision of Love"
OMG. NO. Why would you sing Mariah Carey?! As with her performance last night, this is bland and isn't anything special. Even when the song builds, her runs are just "meh." She's commercial though, and could easily be packaged as R&B lite.
Moses Stone - Team Xtina - "Break Even" by The Script
Interesting song choice. This is a very singer-songwriter-indie song. He's not a singer. He should be breaking (heh) out his rapper skills. That is what makes him "unique." Ouch. Those notes. Not good. Honestly, anyone could take the last spot and I would be happy. OK, stop trying to sing dude.

Xtina saves...ASHLEY!!!
