The View from My Window

Well, it was supposed to be a "blizzard" but the snow isn't really sticking. Although that's New York City for you. It would take a lot of snow for the city to look like a Winter Wonderland. Maybe I should visit Central Park tomorrow morning.

The ventilation ducts from the Chinese restaurant downstairs fascinated me while it was dusted with snow. The trash cans and the satellite dishes were also interesting. The big oval one is the dish that gives me my Filipino programming. The smaller one is allegedly used by the neighbor downstairs. He claimed that he lost his "signal" when the DirecTV guys installed my dish -- and yet, he didn't call DirecTV to fix it. So does he, or doesn't he have DirecTV service? Everytime I pass by his door I can hear his TV. Ah yes, New York.

I think I'll watch Avatar later.
