The Top 10 News Stories of 2011

The AP has released the Top 10 News Stories of 2011. Osama Bin Laden's death was the top story of the year according to a poll of U.S. editors and news directors. Japan's earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown was second. And the "Arab Spring" uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Syria was third.
