The Secret Life of the American Teenager - They Gotta Eat - Recap
The moral of the story this week is to eat dinner with your families. And basically not act like anyone on this show.

The biggest facepalmer of the episode is when Ben whines to his dad about his new girlfriend that he's "in love with." You have literally known her for like 5 minutes. I can't with this show. Why does this kid fall in love every two seconds?
The dads notice that Lauren and Amy aren't speaking to Madison and want to patch things up. They spring a surprise dinner on the girls to try to force the friendship back together. That never works. For the majority of this episode, the guys basically tell Amy and Lauren to just get over it and it wasn't a big deal. Amy's dad even insults her and said she's not able to judge anyone else because of her own life. It's so low and misogynistic I have to wonder why I'm watching at all.
Grace comes clean to her mom about living with Adrian for the Summer. Her mom is happy she told her the truth. Now it's time to shatter her life for awhile. Her father, her real father, was cheating on her mom with a girlfriend in Africa. And he has a lovechild who apparently is going to come stay with them. What? I don't believe for one minute that the character from season 1 would do that but, they're probably running out of ridiculous storylines at this point so I'll just go with it.
