The Secret Life of the American Teenager - Don't Go In There - Recap

When Ben's dad kicks him out of the house for being a selfish ass, Ben tiptoes back to his condo looking for Adrian. He discovers all of her things are still inside along with a few holes in the wall from her fist. Ben wants a new place to stay as a newly single man but no one wants him. He's being pressured from his dad and Ricky to apologize, suck it up and stay with Adrian. That's really not healthy. What's wrong with these people? I mean yeah, Ben is an Ahole for marrying her when he didn't want to and then booking it once their baby dies but really, Adrian would be better off without him.

Homegirl has other plans. The school finds out that Ben left Adrian and can't stop buzzing about it. Do they people do anything at this school but gossip and have sex? Adrian shows up back at school acting like nothing ever happened. She doesn't want to let Ben go and spends her days defending him and pretending they're still in love. Adrian has a master plan to finish school on time and get pregnant again, even if she has to manipulate Ben into staying with her. Aww. It's hard to know how to feel about Adrian. Half the time I feel horrible for her but then she goes and tries to get with Ricky and manipulates Ben. She squeezes out some tears and begs Ben to stay with her in the condo as her friend. He agrees to stay on the couch and stay married with her until school ends. Lol what the hell? Honestly, I think he just wants a bed to sleep in.

Ricky is focusing on not reverting back to his old ways. He tries to avoid Adrian and sets up an interview for a college close to home so he can be with Amy and John. Unfortunately for him, the admissions lady is a former hookup from his past. She basically sexually harasses Ricky and blackmails him by saying if he wants into the school, he has to have sex with her. Shockingly, Ricky turns her down and does not get into the school. The girl in turn tells the counselor that Ricky tried to have sex with her. Wow. What a bitch. I hope she gets hers.

Special shoutout this week to the biggest WTF moment of the episode (and believe me, there are usually a ton) but Tammy trying to be sexy in Tom's office was peculiar.
