The Secret Life - Cute - Recap

Adrian and Ben are still living together as "roommates" despite being married. Adrian pretends that she's open to dating other people and Ben apparently doesn't like that idea. He can leave her and never want to get married again but Adrian's not allowed to date. I'm sorry but if he makes the decision to treat her like crap then he has no say and no right to have an opinion on what she does anymore. Lucky for him and his ego, Adrian still wants him around for his seed. And Grace knows this. She almost tells Ben what Adrian is up to but Adrian stops her. Ben tries to find out what it is that Grace knows about Adrian and just assumes it's about a new boyfriend. Ben has dinner with Ricky's mom so he can have someone to whine to about how horrible his life is because he's married to someone he claimed to be in love with. I can't believe the complete character change Ben has gotten. He went from a marriage loving sweetheart to a total Ass. Ricky's mom ends up falling off the wagon and begins drinking at the dinner until she ends up passed out. I don't drink but if I had to listen to Ben's b.s. I probably would too.

Amy gets Ricky to tell her the truth about why he wasn't accepted into the college. She's pissed and won't let it go. She wants to help him and take down the "skank" that is hurting her man. I hate when Grace and Amy throw that word around. Every girl that annoys you isn't a slut or a skank. But in this case "bitch" would probably work. Amy finds Carlee at the college and confronts her. Carlee laughs in her face. Amy still doesn't let it go and calls Toby for dirt on her. Turns out Carlee has had this problem before and there are numerous complaints about her. Carlee is fired and Ricky is accepted into the college. And that's that. It's a rare abrupt happy ending for this show.
