The Pope Says If Aliens Came to Earth He Would Totally Baptize Them

In his seemingly never-ending quest to be the coolest pope to ever pope, Pope Francis has announced that if aliens ever came to earth he wouldn't be opposed to baptizing them.

Meaning that 1. Pope Francis believes in the existence of life on other planets regardless of his super religious beliefs and 2. he's so accepting that even other species of intelligent life are fine in his book. Probably not in the good book though.

The topic came up when the pope was giving a mass on who should be allowed to be baptized and in short, the answer was everyone.

Everyone should have the option to be baptized.

As he asked the assembled crowd, "If tomorrow, for example, an expedition of Martians arrives and some of them come to us ... and if one of them says: 'Me, I want to be baptised!', what would happen?"

We guess it depends if they come in peace or not. And if they are, if Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith are willing to take on the alien menace.
