The Lying Game - Pleased To Meet Me - Recap

Sutton returns to tell Emma, Thayer, and Ethan about someone trying to kill her. None of them believe her story and continue to think she's lying when she says that Annie saved her. They want proof and want to meet Annie in the hotel she was staying at with Sutton. Because of the cut on her forehead, Emma has to continue to pretend to be Sutton.

In the meantime, Sutton has to stay with Ethan to hide herself. She sneaks out to go back to her own room to get a feel for what her life used to be. She does her nails, listens to music, takes a bubble bath, that sort of thing. And all goes well until her mom walks in and catches her. After they all leave for the party, someone breaks in and Sutton runs to the party to alert Emma, Thayer, and Ethan.

Sutton's mom catches her leave with Thayer and demands she turn around so she can see she's alright. Sutton is more than happy to turn around and show her the cut on her face. Now Emma has no choice but to leave and go back to being herself. Justin finally tells Laurel the truth about why he's been so distant. He believes after some foul play, that Laurel's dad killed his mom during a routine operation. Laurel realizes that it wasn't an accident that the two of them met.
