The Lying Game - Over Exposed - Recap

Sutton is on edge over how content Emma is to masquerade as her and happily take over her life. It's Homecoming and Emma doesn't want to run for queen and take anything else away from Sutton. Queen is apparently something the real Sutton would never, ever give up and it's suspicious if Emma doesn't get into it. Sutton is back in California with Thayer trying to find any information at all about Annie. Little do they know, but Sutton's dad and Alec are busying covering up whatever trace of her they can find.

It seems Annie is in some sort of hospital..a mental one perhaps where she spends all of her time painting. Sutton's father is hiding pictures of Annie around the house and Alec is warning the hospital to never let a girl named Sutton inside to visit.

Emma wants Ethan to be at the Homecoming dance for support but he declines knowing that Sutton didn't want them to be dating publicly. Ethan calls out the real Sutton for this very reason and mentally breaks up with her. He goes to the dance to meet Emma once she's crowned Queen and the two of them share a dance and a kiss in front of the school. Sutton sees the pictures of the two of them on the dance floor and throws herself at Thayer immediately.
