The Lying Game - No Country for Young Love - Recap
Now that Mads is in on the secret, it's time for some more answers. Thayer, Mads, and Emma are disturbed by the constant connections Alec seems to have to Derek's murder.

Their suspicions grow and they decide to sneak into a fraternity for some answers. Alec used to be a member. Off the bat, a pledge recognizes Emma and she recognizes him from Derek's funeral. He admits he saw the argument before Derek's death and saw who he was arguing with. He tells them it was Alec.
Mads and Thayer refuse to believe this of their father and set out to prove his innocence. Rebecca gives Alec and alibi but Emma doesn't believe her. I don't like Rebecca. And neither does Ted. He gets into a shouting match with her outside of the club and warns her to stay away from his family. She then threatens him about what she knows about him and Justin's mother. Sheesh. Who is this lady?
Laurel is growing tired of hiding her relationship with Justin and lying to her family. She's more focused on her growing music career and obvious chemistry with her new bandmate. I think Justin is asking a lot of her to just forgive and forget. Apparently, Laurel agrees with me. She tells Justin how she's feeling and breaks up with him.
Sutton and Ethan are getting closer. Sutton has moments where she seems like a decent human being. Helping Ethan get close to his dad is one of those times. Because he can't get in contact with Emma, I guess her twin will have to do. Sutton tells Ethan she loves him and they kiss. Gasp. Oh no! But I'm not heartbroken because I wouldn't hate it if Thayer hooked up with Emma. Ethan's night gets a little crazier when the FBI storms the house and arrests him. Who told them where he was hiding?
