The Lying Game - Escape From Sutton Island - Recap

Sutton is being held at the psychiatric hospital after trying to sneak in to see her birth mother. They think she's Emma posing as Sutton. Sutton wants to stay at the hospital and play Emma so they don't stick a needle in her thinking she's nuts. Sutton charms her way into sneaking in to see her mother but she flips out. She thinks Sutton is an hallucination and firmly believes both her children are dead because of what "he" told her. Who is he? Alec? Sutton is caught in her room and handcuffed and sent back to Vegas.

Things are getting more and more sticky for Emma back in Phoenix. Her friends overhear that the real Sutton slept with Thayer and believe Ethan is cheating on her with someone named Emma. Her lies are catching up to her and Sutton's friends are slowly turning on her. Eduardo is getting worse and tells Emma that he overheard Alec talking about Sutton. Emma is mad at Ethan for what she believes is feelings he still has for Sutton. He's not going anywhere and vows to keep protecting her no matter how many times Emma sends him away. Idiot. Thayer is also back and trying to help her too. I love that everyone just sees that Emma is the better twin.

Thayer is investigating his dad and questioning Char's boyfriend for being in contact with him. Emma arrives home to an empty house and refuses to let Ethan stay with her. Stupid stupid. Sutton's parents are off catching Laurel doing the deed with Justin in an abandoned house somewhere so she could really use the protection. Especially because her creep foster brother almost rapist Travis walks right into her room knowing who she is. Uhoh.
