The Lying Game - Bad Boys Break Hearts - Recap

Everyone is still reeling about the public kiss between Ethan and Emma. Ethan vows to break up with the real Sutton so he and Emma can be together. Emma is touched by this news but worried about whether or not she should tell him that Sutton has been cheating on him with Thayer. Ethan breaks up with a shocked Sutton and plans his first real date with Emma. Their first real date is nice for about 10 seconds and then they have their first real fight. When Emma tells Ethan the truth about Thayer, he's mad that she hesitated even a minute before telling him. Lame reason for a fight if you ask me.

Laurel's mom is suspicious that Justin is spending so much time with them when they've never met his parents. Laurel suggests a family bbq to break the ice and is disappointed when Justin cancels at the last minute. She's even more disappointed when she goes to his house and discovers he doesn't live there. She does a little investigating and finds him living in a foreclosed house because he's on his own with nowhere to go.

Man. Sutton's friend is SOOOO skinny. Much to her relief, her evil father has calmed down about her almost affair with Eduardo. She's surprised however when she learns that Eduardo is moving back to Chicago because it's become too dangerous for him there. On his way, he gets in a nasty car crash and Mads is convinced her father is to blame. Thayer, who has come back home after fighting with Sutton, agrees. When they all show up to support Mads at the hospital, Ethan arrives and punches Thayer in the face. He has his own explaining to do when he lets slip Emma's name to Char.

Sutton is getting closer to finding where Annie is. Back home, Emma has been asking around about Annie, worrying her dad and Alec. Was that really the smartest thing to do? She knows people are covering stuff up. In L.A. Sutton finds herself at a psychiatric hospital where she believes Annie may be working. The staff won't help her because Alec warned them Sutton might show up. Sutton goes back anyway and peers at Annie through the glass door. Annie seems to recognize her but before anything can be said, Sutton is grabbed from behind.
