The Knitting Room
It's a bit satisfying to be able to finish things I constantly jot down on random pieces of paper as my "TO DO LIST". Walking into our building I thought: wow, I did things. I'm happy.
First of all, my Bulgarian roommate finally left, which leaves me free to do stuff in my room without fear of a total stranger using my meager possessions without permission. Let's just say that nothing really bad happened, but I'm very happy that he's gone. Moreover, on the 15th, I move into a smaller room in the apartment, so I should be a little stressed hauling out my junk. It's all good though, and I have been planning it out so that I do not go crazy.
Secondly, things that needed to get done, got done: laundry, haircut, vacuum and tidy room, wax the living room floor, get a free membership at the recreation center accross the street, finish watching my January(!) Netflix DVDs.
But the best part is: I finally learned how to KNIT. I am now a knitting and purling machine! I have an entire ball of yarn left, but I have already made 8 rows. Weee! The first part however was very stressful. I think I got a fever while Jayme was teaching me in her new apartment in Astoria. We both had to take Advils. Anyway, pictures soon when the scarf is substantial. I'm so proud of myself.
So it feels like my life took a little turn, and I'm ready to go-go-go.
And has anybody been watching The Apprentice? Oh my God it's brutal.
