The Glee Project - Season 2 Episode 8 - Video Recap - Tenacity

The theme for this week's episode of The Glee Project is "Tenacity."

Homework Assignment

Song: "Survivor" by Destiny's Child

Guest Mentor: Amber Riley

Amber's notes:

"Abraham, I love the diva."

"Lily, I didn't feel you connected."

"Aylin, I love your voice."

"Ali, you were moving."

Winner: Ali! Wow! Two in a row!

Music Video

Song: "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor

Concept: The entire music video is one single shot.

Choreography with Zach

No choreography this week. It's just an obstacle course.

Vocals with Nikki

Abraham can't reach the high note, but he tried.

Michael struggled again. I feel bad.

In the group recording -- Lily was VERY loud.

Video Shoot

The final shot was Ali shooting a basketball. That's so difficult!

This was a hard shoot. So many takes before they got the final shot. 34 takes!

Music Video

(This video was horrible. Worst of the season. But in fairness it was a difficult shoot.)

Last Chance Performance

Michael sang "Brick"

(I thought this was amazing. I love Michael. He is a star.)

Ryan said: "I liked what you did with it."

Abraham sang "Man in the Mirror"

(This was just OK.)

Ryan said: "Good. Usually I see you focused, but not this week."

Lily sang "I'm The Greatest Star"

(I hate her, but this was very theatrical. OMG, she could win.)

Ryan said: "You had a tenacity."

Abraham came back after he sang and said he would not leave the competition without Ryan writing him a role on Glee! (WTF)

Results

Not called back: Abraham

Well, he blew it in the end.

Next Week: Romanticality! With Darren Criss!
