The Glee Project – Season 2 Episode 5 – Video Recap - Adaptability

The theme for this week on The Glee Project is "Adaptability".

Kevin McHale is the guest mentor! Go Michael! Go Nellie!

The recap with video:

Homework Assignment

Song: "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette

Twist: The song lyric assignments were chosen at random. Lily, the control freak b----, didn't like it at all.

Guest Mentor: Kevin McHale

Twist: Instead of a group number, everyone will sing the song solo! Yay, adaptability!

Kevin's critique:

"Michael you made an acting choice... a little too much but you stuck with it."

"Aylin you performed the hell out of it."

"Charlie, I liked that you changed the lyrics to be appropriate for a guy."

"Ali, you are super sweet."

"Shanna, you forgot the lyrics but you just kept going."

Winner: Aylin

Twist: The song for the music video will be revealed at the studio. The choreography will be taught at the video shoot. Lily, the control freak b----, didn't like it at all.

Kevin's advice to Aylin during the one-on-one was to be confident.

Music Video

Vocals with Nikki

The song revealed: "Price Tag" by Jessie J. Some of the guys did not know the song at all! Very hard.

Unlike last week, Michael was "on fire" according to Nikki. Yay!

Video Shoot plus Choreography with Zach

Charlie stood out again... in a wrong way. Mario also had a hard time with acting.

Blake had trouble with the choreography.

Music Video:

-- This was the weakest video of the season, but it was a hard week.

Last Chance Performance

Stand Out Performance: Aylin

Twist: Duets with the Bottom 6! (instead of Bottom 3)

Nellie and Blake sang "Waiting For A Girl/Boy Like You"

-- Such chemistry.

Ryan said: "That was an opera!"

Ali and Abraham sang "Last Friday Night"

-- Cute! But a bit "squeaky."

Ryan said: "You had a bit of a word problem, but you two were charming and great."

Mario and Charlie sang "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me"

-- This was awful.

Ryan said: "I like how sweet you were with each other."

Allie, Nellie and Blake are safe!

Abraham, Charlie and Mario in the Bottom 3.
