The Glee Project - Season 2 Episode 3 - Video Recap - Vulnerability

The theme for this week on The Glee Project is "Vulnerability".

Homework Assignment

Song: "My Life Would Suck Without You" by Kelly Clarkson

During lyric selection, Lily (the b___) gives Aylin some attitude. Hmmm...

Guest Mentor: Cory Monteith

His critiques:

"Abraham your voice was fantastic."

"Lily your hair pull was taking us away from vulnerability."

"Ali you could push less."

"Shanna, truthful performance."

"Nellie you got the high note. Intensity. You sounded fantastic."

The winner is: Nellie!

She gets a one on one moment with Cory and a step out moment in the music video.

Music Video

The video is "Everybody Hurts" by REM and the concept is about bullying. No choreography in the video.

The discussion with Erik the director was very emotional.

Lily admitted that she was the bully in middle school. Well she still is!

Vocals with Nikki

Ali was not great. She was "too happy". Mario had problems with his pitch.

Video Shoot

Lily is such a diva! She can't lip sync and she's blaming everybody else. Robert and Zach says that Lily and Mario are alike: it's never their fault.

Charlie took Mario's walking cane during rehearsal which everyone thought was inappropriate.

The video:

- This video was so much better than last week.

Last Chance Performance

Bottom 3: Charlie, Mario and Lily

Lily sings "Mercy" by Duffy

- This was good vocal.

Ryan says: "The show is about underdogs, but you are not an underdog."

She ends up breaking down on stage with that. LOL. Then she kisses Ryan's butt as she walks off: "I love you Ryan Murphy."

Charlie sings "Fix You" by Coldplay

- This was just ok for me.

Ryan says: "I was unsure where you were going. I was very inspired with what you did."

Mario sings "Over the Rainbow"

- This was good!

He starts crying after the critique.
