The Glass House - Restraining Order Denied

A federal judge is allowing ABC's The Glass House to air as scheduled, denying CBS's request for a temporary restraining order. CBS claims that the show is too much like Big Brother.

I for one am happy. I am so looking forward to this new show which airs this Monday, June 18. What if it's actually better than Big Brother? That's just good news for viewers. Simon Fuller's If I Can Dream was also set in a house with cameras and a 24-hour live stream and CBS didn't attempt to stop that.

A federal judge is temporarily allowing ABC to air its upcoming reality competition show Glass House despite protests from CBS that the show is too similar to Big Brother.

In a packed courthouse on Friday morning, U.S. District Court judge Gary Feess denied a CBS request for a temporary restraining order, which the network argued was necessary to prevent irreparable hard from the new show when it airs June 18.
