The Gates: Opening Night

I went back to the Park tonight, and visited our new friends the Gates. I have discovered that I'm a little obsessed with this as I totally ignored my body and walked into the freezing cold.

Art probably creates more art, as I toyed with the settings of my Nikon Coolpix 2500. I knew the pictures wouldn't be so great, but I tried anyway. The 30 or so pictures I took with the Night Landscape setting were utterly useless. I had more luck to my surprise with the Night Portrait setting, which had an annoying auto-flash -- but apparently it worked. The shot of this gate above was a pleasant surprise.
