The Event - I Know Who You Are - Recap

After a nice break from Sean and Leila last week, we get more of their story this week. While it's refreshing that the episode doesn't focus on them, they are a huge part of the story. Madeline, the woman they met last week, helps them look for answers about what Michael knew and who has him now. Long story short, he found out some stuff he shouldn't have about the government and our favorite aliens so he was taken. Before they got him, he left behind some notes he had been investigating. Madeline takes Sean and Leila to a guy she knows who can help them crack the code he left behind. It turns out to be information on a bunch of missing girls. Before they can get any farther, a group of goons attack the building with guns. As Sean and Co. run out of the building, the man who helped them blows up the building and disappears with Madeline. Can they be trusted? Where did they go?
Sterling has become increasingly suspicious of the people around him. Flashbacks show us he has a history of trust issues when when we learn he married a Russian spy. He sacrifices a lot for his career and we've all seen the measures he'll go to to get what he needs. With Simon in the hospital (YAY HE'S ALIVE), Blake is under more pressure to find out the identity of the mole and camps in Simon's room to question him as soon as he wakes up. I think he just wants to stare at how beautiful he is but that's just my opinion.
The agent that Simon threw in the trunk last week tries to convince everyone that Simon is an alien and the mole. They hurry to do some DNA and fingerprint work to prove this accusation. Sophia is livid at what Thomas has done. After a good smack, we learn that Sophia is Thomas' mother. He doesn't listen to his mother very well does he? Thomas arranges to have Simon's blood and fingerprints switched so he will be saved. They plant the mole's identity on the agent that accused Simon in the first place. Yay Simon!
After knowing the fates of Leila's parents all this time we finally get a glimpse as to what has happened to her sister. She's alive at least. For now anyways. She's in a van being injected with a creepy substance by a creepy lady. What the heck was that about? Any ideas? Logic tells me this little girl is one of the many missing girls. The woman takes her down a long, narrow, creepy hallway that I swear i've seen in some horror movie before and I just know whatever is at the end of the hall is going to be creepy. And boy am I right. The door opens and its a room full of little girls playing with their toys like they're in a playroom or something. But right away you know something isn't right. All of them aren't showing their faces. Their heads are down and I'm afraid what I'm going to see when they lift up their heads. Then they do it and I jump back in to my chair. Talk about nightmares! They all have creepy old woman faces and it scared the crap out of me.
What do you think is going on??
