'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' Season 10 Premiere Celebration to Feature Britney Spears & Simon Cowell

Ellen DeGeneres will open season 10 of The Ellen DeGeneres Show with The X Factor  judges Britney Spears and Simon Cowell.

Ellen is celebrating ten years on the air with a huge premiere week, which will include Olympians Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, and Kyla Ross, Pink, Phillip Phillips, Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and more.

Sounds like a great first week!

After Ellen's ABC sitcom was canceled in 1998 amidst declining ratings and backlash over the actress and her character's coming out story, I would never have imagined in 2012 she would be a television icon, celebrating ten years on one of the most popular daytime talk shows in history and even have her own star on the walk of fame.

I've been a huge fan of Ellen ever since the first time I saw her perform stand up on Evening at the Improv & VH1 Stand Up Spotlight back in the late 80s/early 90s.  I'm glad she never gave up and found the success she worked so hard to get.  Happy tenth anniversary Ellen!
