The CW releases 2013 Fall schedule

The CW has released its 2013 Fall Schedule, which includes some high-profile moves.

Beauty and the Beast loses its valuable Vampire Diaries lead-in, moving to Mondays at 9:00 PM to be paired with Hart of Dixie, of all things. While common sense would suggest pairing The Originals, a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, with its parent series on Thursday nights. But the freshman series is being paired with Supernatural on Tuesday nights, while the post-TVD Thursday slot goes to debuting series Reign.

It's a peculiar line-up, if nothing else, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of these shows get moved around once series start getting cancelled in the fall (not everything can succeed -- unfortunately, one of these new shows is going to fail. Hell, one of the existing shows could fall by the wayside).

Mondays

8 p.m.: Hart Of Dixie 9 p.m.: Beauty And The Beast

Tuesdays

8 p.m.: THE ORIGINALS 9 p.m.: Supernatural

Wednesdays

8 p.m.: Arrow 9 p.m.: THE TOMORROW PEOPLE

Thursdays

8 p.m.: The Vampire Diaries 9 p.m.: REIGN

Fridays

8 p.m.: The Carrie Diaries 9 p.m.: America's Next Top Model

Currently unscheduled: Nikita, STAR-CROSSED (midseason), THE 100 (midseason), FAMOUS IN 12 (midseason)
